About the Art
All of the art featured on this site are hand pulled prints created through a process most commonly known as Screenprinting.

Each piece is individually hand crafted. Every imperfection is intentional and ensures that each piece is unique and a one of a kind work of art.

About Design
Skårt strives to create modern and unique art to compliment the design of your nursery, child's room, or any other room you would like to add a little whimsy to. The printmaking process allows me to create smooth, clean, graphic images that really pop. Meanwhile, using wood as the backdrop and allowing the grain to show through brings a great natural and organic sense to the pieces.

About Sustainability
Being earth friendly and green is very important to Skart. All of the wood used for printing is purchased from a certified FSC lumber yard. FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. All the paints and sealants are water based and certified eco friendly.

About creating custom art
I am always happy to talk about creating different color combinations to match your decor. I fyou have a certain design idea or theme for your child's room and would like to discuss creating a piece to match, please email me with your thoughts and suggestions.
